Man, this game is brutal. I've died so many times to random wolves or just plain starvation that it's getting a bit frustrating. The 'rougelike' part is definitely accurate, but sometimes it feels less about skill and more about pure luck on spawns. I get the challenge, but a slightly gentler learning curve or maybe some more obvious survival cues would be nice. I'll keep trying because the core idea is cool, but prepare to get stomped. It's not for the faint of heart or those who give up easily. Graphics are decent though.
The atmosphere in Forest Survivor is surprisingly good for an indie title. The procedurally generated forests really feel alive, and the day/night cycle adds a lot to the immersion.
